Flowers, flowers, flowers...

Next on the organising list is flowers...

I have a dress... and two pairs of shoes

So there is no way I'm posting a photo of my dress... but I am in love with it. The shape is everything I wanted with a romantic, contemporary touch. You will just have to wait and see! It has bits of both of these dresses.. but is neither of them!

Shoes, shoes, shoes. As I said previously, they are important. Very important. I may or may not have two pairs of wedding shoes. My #1shoes are from the beautiful Kate Spade. Sigh. I love them, I love them alot. Its going to take alot of will power not to wear them before the wedding. I have been 'breaking them in' during these school holidays whilst doing boring things around the house. They seriously look fabulous with my juicy pants and a tank top. Seriously.

Anyway, here they are care of the amazing, beautiful Kate Spade New York..

Not your typical wedding shoes...

These are my #2 pair of wedding shoes but I think I am going to wear them for my future brother-in-law and my bridesmaid/future-sis-in-law's engagement party becuase they are sooooo fabulous!

We are getting there! Since it's been school holidays for the last two weeks I have been researching and booking things for the wedding. We've organised our invitations and other stationary bits and bobs with the beautiful Rachael from Pistachio Press (www.pistachiopress.com) and have gone with her 'swirl' design that she has customised for our wedding.

The lovely  Anna Alicia makes the most beautiful, simple garters from vintage ribbon in London and she has custom made a navy, vintage ribbon garter for me.

Our ring pillow is coming from 5eizen and is gorgeous, keeping with our navy and ivory theme will have a navy pillow and white flower.

I am a huge fan of all the Nancy Meyers movies - The Holiday, Something's Gotta Give and Its Complicated - for the romantic storylines, the fearsome heorines and her amazing, beautiful, classic, homely, so wanted set design houses...

Iris' cottage in Surrey, apparently it really exists!

The beautiful house in LA, tuscan feel with a gorgeous contemporary interior...

In Something's Gotta Give the house is in the beautiful, uber stylist and for the socialising-set only Hampton's. The beautiful living room and kitchen are lust worthy indeed!

Lastly, her latest movie "Its Complicated" features a foodie-designed kitchen that any foodie-wanna-be like me would dream of!

And a beautiful, cozy living room for chats with friends and marshmallows on the fire!
