engaged and loving it!

My gorgeous man Liam proposed to me last October. He organised a gorgeous picnic for my 'birthday' at our favourite winery in the Hunter Valley, Audrey Wilkinson. As it started to sprinkle with rain, he gave me my birthday present, a gorgeous, princess cut white diamond. With a 'i love you and i want to marry you' he slipped the ring on my finger and kissed me! It was perfect and gorgeous..

After hours on the phone and champagne with our beautiful families its now on with the planning..

We have spent the last four months looking for a wedding venue in Sydney which we didn't think would be all that hard but apparently it is! We have looked at so many venues with none being appropriate until last week!

We, for the 100th time, google searched 'Wedding Venue Sydney' and the Sebel Pier One popped up. Its right under the south side of the Harbour Bridge and is a gorgeous, completely refurbished shipping pier with rustic looking exterior and a 5 star hotel interior. The whole venue is a 152 room hotel complete with restaurant and bar and function room.

The function room is called the 'HarbourWatch' room with 270 degree views of Sydney Harbour. West up the Parramatta river, East out to the heads and the ocean and north across the harbour to Luna Park (which will look amazing all lit up!).

Here are a couple of photos from last weekend (rainy day and iPhone quality) but I think it shows off the beauty all together..
